Our role as Legal Business Partner is defined together with each client depending on their needs and realities. This role is evolving and flexible, and may include the following elements:

  • Close cooperation with key personnel and stakeholders
  • Understanding the client’s business, support functions and operating environment
  • Acting as a sounding board for the management in operational and strategic matters
  • Serving as an easy-to-reach primary point of contact for all or specific legal issues
  • Offering proactive legal advice to avoid unnecessary spending of time and money
  • Understanding and communicating the risks and opportunities related to the client’s business
  • Creating balanced governance and compliance processes to manage legal risks
  • Communicating effectively with the client’s internal teams and external parties to ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Representing and supporting the client in negotiations
